Kathleen Monteleone: the one America wants?

“This is literally my dream come true. It really is,” Monteleone said during a recent phone interview. “My whole life, this is everything I’ve wanted to do. Every morning I have to pinch myself and remind myself . . . I really do remind myself that I am living my dream every day.”

Other people who know Monteleone have also been showing her love by making her posters, sending e-mails, commenting on her MySpace page, coming to tapings and voting like there is no tomorrow.

She said this showing of support has really helped make her experience on the show even more unforgettable and fun.

“They’re so excited!” Monteleone said. “Like I said, this is my dream and they know it. They’re going above and beyond of being supportive.”
